That’s not much to ask for and you have to move a little more than you’re used to in order start burning that fat. The common notion is that you will have to spend hours sweating those extra fat away doing activities that involve pushing, lifting and other such physical exertions. That’s not a doable and effective weight loss plan.

Here are a few simple ways you can lose weight effectively:

Eat Well and Drink Plenty of Water to Burn Fat

To lose weight, you don’t have to restrict your meals to bland, unexciting foods. The trick is to be ready to try new things – there are so many food types out there that are delicious and at the same time help you shed those extra pounds.

You can never go wrong if you use fresh ingredients to prepare your meals. Stop using anything that’s processed – foods that are frozen, canned, boxed or jugged – because these have no place in a nutritious diet. Some people even opt to eat a partial or complete raw food diet.

Take note of the following and start making them staples in your daily meal plans:

• fresh veggies
• fresh fruits
• fresh fish
• free range meat products
• organic poultry
• organic whole eggs
• organic milk and dairy products
• fresh herbs
• raw nuts

As you can see, everything on this list is natural. Natural foods are the best because they are rich in nutrients and low in calories. Being natural, they are not loaded with additives that play a part in weight gain and health problems that include hypertension, diabetes and cancer.

Don’t Go Too Heavy On The Sugar…

Sugar is in almost everything so it’s very easy to eat lots without being aware of it. Check labels because sugar goes by something like 53 different names and some manufacturers will use two, three even seven or more different types of sugar to give you that sweet taste and not have to list “sugar” as an ingredient high up on the list.

Too much sugar is damaging to the health. It has empty calories and can depress the immune system, raise your risk of osteoporosis and can contribute to heart disease.

Drink Lots of Water for Effective Weight Loss

Every nutrition plan must include water. Water is essential for maintaining proper health and burning fat. It metabolizes stored fat and flushes out toxins and excess fat.

Water also prevents constipation and bloating and curbs your appetite.

For optimum health, you should drink half of your body weight in ounces of water every day. If you weigh 140 pounds, you should drink at least 70 ounces of water daily.
